Niche Blogs Are Very Beneficial For Your Online Business

By J. Charles Frank -

Many people focus their online business around building niche blogs. A niche is any market that you can enter with a product or service and make money. Niche Blogs are very popular and offer many benefits to running this type of online venture, and below you will learn many of the advantages.

1. Niche blogs are a form of website that is said to be “alive.” Most static websites are only updated when the site is created. However, with blogs, you should continuously post new content to keep your visitors interested in returning to your site.

2. Once you set up a niche blog, all you need to do is remember to update with new posts. The installation and set up should not take more than a couple hours and then the updating of content doesn’t take more than 10 minutes.

3. You can set up niche blogs with a very low investment. There are free ways to set up blogs on the Internet. If you choose, you can purchase a domain name and hosting to secure your content. Outsourcing the content can also be done at an affordable cost.

4. There are so many ways you can earn with niche related blogs. The options are abundant, so you can choose which will fit into your business model. Examples include Google AdSense, affiliate marketing with ClickBank, or promoting physical products from Amazon.

5. Blogs are very interactive, as your visitors can contact you and each other though the comment sections of the posts. This allows you to learn more about your readers. This helps them develop trust in you.

6. Niche blogs tend to rank higher in the search results because they provide their readers with fresh content on a regular basis. Google feeds on new content that is high quality, so you can really boost your site if you have a blog installed. If you have a regular site, you will have to do a great deal of search engine optimization in order to compete with blogs in your niche.

7. Syndication of the blog’s content allows many people to be exposed to your content. Other publishers can post your content by using your feeds with this beneficial function. The visitors of the sites where your feeds are located can easily subscribe to your blog’s updates, bringing you more exposure.

With so many benefits, it is ridiculous for anyone to claim that niche blogs cannot make you money.

If you are really serious about making money online and being able to quit your job, then it is time for you to stop making excuses. I can show you The Easiest Way To Get Rich: http://www.EasiestWayToGetRich.com. This is not for just anyone, but it works. And, it works well. Create Profitable Blogs for Affiliate Marketing Promotion

By K Michael -

There are two main ways that you can make money using blogs for affiliate marketing. One way is to have your blog centered around a niche and then promote products in that niche. The other way is to create a blog that has a review (or reviews) of products or services.

You should keep in mind that when you’re creating blogs for affiliate marketing or for any type of marketing for that matter, you should never just be trying to sell, sell, sell. Be subtle when giving a review or product recommendation. Also make sure that you find an affiliate product that is relevant to the topic of your blog. If you’re blog is about dog training, most likely no one is going to respond to you selling a weight loss product.

Niche Blogs

If you want to make money with niche blogs make sure the affiliate product you are trying to sell will appeal to your readers and that you can do a good job of including it in your blog without seeming to desperate for a sale. Keep your marketing attempts natural and make sure they fit in with the flow of your blog. When creating content for your blog, you want to pre-sell your affiliate product. Make sure that you’re giving them quality information, but at the same time not revealing everything. You want to tell them what to do, but not how to do it. Then include a link or links back to an affiliate product that would help answer the questions that they have. You also want to make sure that you optimize your blog for the search engines. Do your keyword research and then after you pick some good terms, continue to use them throughout your blog so that you can rank well for those terms.

Review Blogs

There are two ways to create review blogs. You can have your entire blog centered around one affiliate product or service or you can have multiple reviews for different products within the same niche. When creating these reviews, it’s a good idea to either have purchased the product or have done some research on the product, so it appears that you are an insider. Nobody wants rehashed information that they could have gotten from the sales page. It’s also best if the review is overall positive, but should have negative points so that your readers trust what you’re saying. To optimize your blog you simply want to go after keywords that use the product name and variations of it (i.e., product name review, buy product name, product name scam, etc).

Traffic to your Blog

There are numerous ways to drive traffic to your blog. You should first start off social bookmarking all your blog posts to all the major directories. Then you can drive traffic by doing article marketing, video marketing, PPC advertising, blog and forum posting, etc. You can also use social media sites like Facebook and twitter to drive additional traffic.

With the strategies above you now have a plan for how to set up profitable blogs for affiliate marketing promotions.

Wedding Blogs

By Nigel Ware -

Why Do An Article On Just Wedding Blogs?

Simple, wedding blogs are the only type of blogs I view, so these are the only types of blogs I can comment on, and also I have come to realise that many people do not realise that wedding blogs are another form of web directory of services/vendors.

How Are Wedding Blogs Like Business Directories?

Wedding blogs come across to the uninitiated as an individual raving about a particular service or image or venue, or they focus on the personal aspect of the actual couples involved. This is seemingly as it seems, someone expressing their passions on their chosen subject matter, but is it?

How Wedding Blogs Work.

Wedding blogs are a business! There is a reason why any particular wedding blog looks stylish and professional, and this is because it is a business. The successful well known blogs can sell advertising spaces in various sizes and prevalence. Some blogs will insist on a certain style of image to be used for a vendors advert but in most cases, an advertiser has a free hand.

So? So what you are asking?

Well, the really interesting bit is not the adverts on the wedding blog, but the actual blog posts. Look over any wedding blog post and you will see a reference to a wedding vendor of some description, some times this can be due to just copyright, but in the majority of cases the actual URL or website/company/vendor mentioned in the blog will be the vendor who has paid for that blog post to be made!

Hold on your saying, if a vendor is paying for a blog entry, surely they would want their name/business/website mentioned many times and also a thorough breakdown of who they are, what they offer etc?

Yes of course they will want all that, and so a vendor can pay for that type of blog entry, which is called a “sponsored listing”. In sponsored listings the vendor can go to town with a fully detailed explanation of who they are and what they offer, and in most cases the wedding blogger will opt for the “interview” with these types of “sponsored listings”. But more often and not, wedding vendors will opt for the more normal blog post.

Why Do Wedding Blogs Do this, And Not Just A Traditional Detailed Advert?

Well advertising works at its very best in this particular field of weddings, because Brides to be and Grooms to be are looking for vendors via a referral method. If a third party writes an excellent referral about a wedding vendor, then a Bride to be or Groom to be will be satisfied that the vendor in question there for must be a safe bet.

In the world of weddings, this type of subtle advertising is seen as working really well, and also it is priced cheaper in real terms than a simple advert.

Why Do Vendors Choose To Pay For Blog Posts And Not Just Adverts?

An advert will be removed once the contract time has passed, where as a blog post will remain on that blog forever, or until the blogger ceases to pay for their server/quits blogging.

The aspect of a blog post remaining for a long time, over the short term of an advert is very important to a vendor. Because any vendor website wants to be higher in Google, and one of the main very important factors in promoting a website to Google is gaining links to that vendors website.

But lets be clear about this, not just any link, Google’s algorithms are looking for quality link backs to a vendors website, and there is no better quality link for most wedding vendors than a link from a wedding blog which is specialising in their chosen field of weddings! The only other type of links that would be fantastic for a wedding vendor or any business, is a link from a big website, such as BBC for instance.

Blogs have been around for only a short time, and they will massively increase in numbers and in time people will realise that a blogger is there, just as a business directory is, to sell, sell, sell, but in a informative, entertaining, possibly stylish way.

The most successful wedding bloggers will write in a way that the reader should feel informed and entertained and not consciously realise they are in fact reading a sales pitch.

Niches Definition – Is Your Blog Niche Definition Hurting Your Profits?

By David Caldus -

Most people who fail to make a living online are really just struggling with poorly defined niches. To be successful, your niches definition needs to be clearly and concisely defined. It should focus like a laser beam on a specific audience and problem.

The formal definition of a niche is, “A specialized market”. That is pretty vague, so let me give you a classic example from internet marketing. I will take a very broad market and “niche it down” to a very targeted and specialized niche definition.

Example: Women

–Young women

—-Engaged young women

——Engaged, young women who want to lose 10 pounds before their wedding day.

——–Engaged, slightly overweight women living in Maryland, who have busy work schedules, who are also busy finalizing plans for their wedding in 30 days, and want a targeted plan to lose a few inches around their waist so that they look absolutely stunning in their wedding dress.

So to the formal definition above, I would add that a niche has two main components, an audience and a problem.

Who is your audience?

Do you know who your niche audience is? If you say, “everyone” then you have haven’t done your research yet. The trick is to get more and more specific.

From the example above, do you see the power of a focused niche? We refined our niche definition until we had a very specific market with a very specific problem that needed a very specific solution. If you built a website specifically for this niche. do you think you could make some money?

What is their problem?

If you’ve defined your audience, your niches definition also needs to include a problem. In the above example, the main problem was losing weight. But the specific problem was losing a specific amount of weight from a specific region of the body, in a specific period of time. The brides also have a specific reason for losing weight, to look great in their wedding dresses.

Once you have a specific audience for your niche, take the time to get to know what their problems are. The secret to a profitable blog or website is to find out who your audience is, find out what they want, and then give them what they want. If you don’t know what they want, spend some time where they hang out and listen. Online forums are great for learning what your niche audience is talking about.

When defining your niche, make sure you know exactly who your audience is and what problems they want to solve. Once you know your niches definition, you are ready to make a very profitable site.

Want to learn rapid ways to come up with profitable niche website ideas? Watch as one marketer cracks open three very competitive profitable niche markets.

Instant Blog Niche Ideas – Let Google Do All the Work

By David Caldus -

Finding profitable blog niche ideas can be very time consuming and frustrating, especially for beginners. Sometimes it feels like all of the profitable website niches have been taken. Or that all of the markets have been tapped out. It is very common to feel that way. I am here to tell you that it is a lot easier than you might think. There is room enough for everyone. This article will demonstrate a simple technique for using Google to find great blog niche ideas.

First, let’s discuss the secret behind all profitable blog niches. There is one common ingredient that all successful nice sites and blogs have in common. The secret ingredient: A Hungry Audience. I believe that any niche can be a successful if you take the time to tap in to a hungry crowd thirsty for your information.

But how do you find a niche in the first place? I recently found an incredibly simple technique that helps me immediately locate hungry niche markets. Wouldn’t it be great to find out what people are looking to buy right now? Well, you can. Just ask Google’s Product Search tool.

The first, and only step really, is to go to Google’s Product Search Tool.

http://www.google.com/products

Take a look at the bottom half of the page. You will find a list of products and services that people are actively looking to buy right now. Each one of these is a potential niche market. If the search term seems to general to you, simply click on the link and dig deeper into the market.

What if you don’t find anything interesting? That’s easy, just click your browser’s refresh button and you will receive a new list of random terms. Just keep clicking the refresh button until you see something that captures your curiosity.

What I like to do is to select the most obscure term on the list and then throw it into a keyword search tool. The keyword search tool will generate a long list of potential keywords that I can investigate further.

Using this method, I can instantly identify great blog niche ideas and then get started on my next profitable niche site.

Do you more need more blog niche ideas? I probably shouldn’t show this to you, but I recently found an even better way to find thousands of niche website ideas full of starving crowds. Come take a look.

Lucrative Blog Niches – How to Choose the Most Profitable Blog Topic

By Valerie M. Edmon -

You may have heard about how profitable blogging can be. But the truth is, the vast majority of blogs that are started never earn a single penny and are eventually abandoned by the person who started them. The main reason this happens is that the blog is started in the wrong niche. This article will share with you the three most lucrative blog topics that will guarantee that your blog is successful.

The first market I would recommend centering your blog around is the health and fitness market. Any niche within this market is guaranteed to be profitable because people will always want and need to look and feel better. Niches like weight loss, dieting and exercise are always going to be profitable in addition to niches in the wellness market having to do with particular body problems like acne and others that plague people.

The second market I would suggest you create a blog about is the love and relationships market. Niches within this market such as conflict, dating, marriage, divorce, family, and parenting are all profitable because people will always want to learn how to strengthen and improve the relationships in their lives.

Finally, some extremely lucrative blog niches fall within the money and finances market. People will always want to learn how to make more money and increase their wealth, so building a blog around making money is sure to reward you with the big bucks. There’s a reason I choose this as one of the sole niches I focus on today despite having built blogs in almost every niche over the past six years.

Creating a money-making blog should be simple but many people find the process difficult and confusing. If you want to learn how to set up your very own blog for free, sign up for my Make Money Blogging Challenge today!

Why Every Artist Needs a Blog & How to Create an Artist Blog

By Kristin Royce -

As an artist, the key to selling more artwork is maximizing its exposure. The internet is an increasingly popular tool for promoting original art, and if done properly, can be quite profitable.

One of the most effective (and free!) online marketing tools for artists is the blog. Artist blogs provide an easy way to display your art, discuss your creative process, post exhibition announcements and more. Best of all, blogs require no working knowledge of HTML and the search engines love their dynamic content.

What is a blog and how will it sell my art?

A “blog” is a web-based diary or journal. The author of a blog, also known as a “Blogger”, publishes content on a regular basis about a focused topic. These regular postings typically provide a “community” feel by allowing site visitors to post feedback to your journal entries. This mode of communication can deepen relationships with potential art buyers, leading to increased sales.

Blogs also have the ability to archive all of your previous posts, dynamically creating an individual page for each journal entry. The feature is great for art buyers using search engines to find original art. For example, if you have a blog post describing a painting that you just completed of the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset and an art buyer in Florida goes to Google and searches for “painting of Golden Gate Bridge at sunset”, there is a very good chance that your blog entry will appear pretty high in the rankings. Cha Ching!!

Many artists have felt the pain of email marketing losing its effect due to spam filters, junk email overloads and virus paranoia. Blogs provide a new way to communicate with clients, fans and industry professionals. This trend can support your email marketing efforts by allowing blog subscription options for site visitors so that they are notified whenever your blog is updated along with providing a permanent place on the web for all of your postings as opposed to newsletter emails that are typically deleted.

How to start a blog

  1. Blog Publishing Tools

To begin, visit some of these free blogging sites, all offering unique template options that even an artist can appreciate, image uploads and syndication ability.

    • Blogger.com (blogger.com) – Simple to set up and multiple authoring ability
    • MSN Spaces (spaces.msn.com) – Create your own mini site, with an exceptional blogging feature
    • Live Journal (livejournal.com) – Requires a bit of ‘blogging knowledge’ to get it set up
    • Blog Drive (blogdrive.com)

If you’re interesting in reviewing additional blog features, these sites require a small monthly fee to maintain.

    • Typepad (typepad.com) – starts at $4.95/month
    • Tripod Blogs (tripod.lycos.com) – starts at $4.95/month

Note to artists with MySpace accounts: MySpace provides members personal blogs, but it is important to know that MySpace blogs are not currently listed in search engines, which as noted above, is one of the main reasons to get a blog. While MySpace works to remedy this issue, it is recommended that you blog using a tool that is accessible to search engine spiders.

  2. Decide on a title for your blog

The title of your blog should be brief and to the point. You can get creative with your language in the blog description / tag line. A focused title will help with higher search engine rankings and make it clear to visitors what the blog is about.

For example, the title for ThePauper.com blog is “Diary of a Pauper”. The blog description is “Rants and raves about the careers and lives of starving artists.” The title is concise, stating exactly what it is, while the description is a bit more creative.

  3. Blog theme

It’s important to establish yourself as a professional working artist if you want to use your blog as a vehicle to sell your art. Blog theme involves the layout and color of the page, quality of the artwork images displayed and verbiage used for blog postings.

Select your blog template carefully and make a habit to review your blog from the perspective of a potential client. Is the page visually appealing? Do the images of your artwork provide a link to an extra large version to see detail? Does your content have a consistent theme?

Here’s a good example of a working blog by mix engineer, Ken Lewis: http://protoolsmixing.com/blog.html

The content theme is exceptionally consistent, plus the colors and page layout match his website.

  4. What to write

What’s beautiful about blogs is that there are no rules on what to write, but if you want to attract and keep an audience, you might consider some of these suggestions.

    • Keep your posts creative and interesting. Move and inspire your readers by being completely honest about your creative process.
    • Use keywords in your blog title and post. Using the example mentioned earlier – if your post is about a Golden Gate Bridge painting, be sure to use that exact phrase in the title and body of your blog. Think about what people might type into search engines to find your content and then use those keywords in your blog. This technique will help increase the ranking of your web page on search engines.
    • Post daily, or at least twice a week. If you publish blog entries frequently, you will see more return visitors, subscriptions to your blog and comments from site visitors.
    • Proofread and preview your blog entries before posting. Some blog HTML editors have a way of creating weird symbols out of certain characters and a quick spell-check never hurts. (Note: be sure to create your blog entries using Word or some other text editor. Many blogging tools tend to “time out” after a certain amount of time and you could potentially lose hours of work.)
  5. Publish your blog

Finally! Your blog looks great and has unique content. Now, depending on the blogging tool that you selected, follow the steps to publish it to the World Wide Web. Test the live URL that now houses your blog. If all of your graphics appear correctly and the copy is flawless, then you want to make sure that you promote your blog on your personal website, in your email signature and by word of mouth.

Using the tools you already have to spread the word while testing your dedication to frequent posting is the best way to get started. Part 2 of will unveil tons of ways to promote your blog online.

What is Your Blog Niche? How to Find Your Niche

By MJ Schrader -

Choosing a niche for your blog can be a hard and confusing process. If income is goal, you want a niche that is profitable. Any blogger wants their blog read, so you want to have a niche that others want to read. By knowing what to look for in a niche, finding your niche becomes an easier process.

What are your interests?

Blogging about something in which you have no interest can become a chore. Look for something you enjoy or really want to learn. You might want to think about a few topics before you decide. The next questions can help you decide if it is a niche to pursue.

How many people are interested in your niche?

While there are millions of people interested in dogs, there are also millions of blogs about dogs. You would want to narrow it down, perhaps to a specific breed. Maybe you like training dogs. Since it is a big market, you could even break it down into training of a golden retrievers. On the flip side, the training of Otterhounds would be too small of a market. Plus Otterhounds are rather stubborn.

Are there networking sites in your blog niche?

One way to determine if your topic is too broad or too narrow is to look for networking sites in that niche. You want to find forums and groups on sites like Facebook that are in your niche. If there are few forums or worse none, then you want to look for another niche. If your search turns up pages and pages, then your niche is too broad and you will want to narrow it.

Is there enough content?

A blog requires regular posting. You do not need to worry about being an expert in your niche. There is always someone who knows less than you about your topic. Plus as you learn you add more information to your blog. But you will either need to know quite a bit about your niche or be able to find information for you to amass inspiration.

Can you make income with your blog topic?

Income is a focus of many blog writers, even a small income can help. Study other blogs in your niche. Perhaps you will see banner ads, or you may see affiliate ads. The blogger may recommend products.

What niche works for you?

Now that you have an idea of what you need to know, you may have a clear winner in your mind. A perfect niche does not exist, so do not spend too much time obsessing over a niche having everything mentioned. If you find your niche focus is slightly off, refocus. If your blog niche does not work, change. You are not engraving stone, the internet is very forgiving and flexible.

How to Start a Fashion Design Blog – 7 Steps to Setting the Fashion World Ablaze With Your Blog

By Lily McCallister -

You’re a Fashionista with a capital “F.” You’re on a first name basis with the top designers. You predict fashion trends before they happen. So why not share your love of fashion design with the world through a blog? As you’ll see, there are just a few simple steps for starting your own fashion blog. Anyone can do it, but it’s going to be your passion that makes it special.

Step 1: Sign up with a blog host. Don’t worry, this sounds technical, but it’s actually quite easy. By signing up with a hosting service, all your blog content is housed on that host’s computer. It saves you from having to do all the technical work yourself. Many of the hosts like WordPress and Blogger are free, and they have easy templates that you can use to set up your blog in minutes. When you sign up, you’ll also get to name your blog.

Step 2: Decide on a niche. Fashion is a broad category, so consider focusing on a specific area of fashion that you are most excited about. Whether you’re an expert on shoes, the go-to gal on bargain hunting, or a fashion school student with advice for fellow students, choosing a niche makes you an expert in that field and increases your chances of being read.

Step 3: Be an information sponge. Read everything: newspapers, fashion magazines, entertainment rags, the latest chick lit bestseller. Surf the web for other fashion blogs, websites of both established and up and coming fashion designers, shopping sites, and reviews of collections. You’ll never know what may inspire a blog entry. As you sift through articles and websites, save anything that catches your eye in an inspiration file that you can refer to later.

Step 4: Write! Don’t let writer’s block keep you from posting your first blog entry. Think of writing a blog as writing a note to friends. Just write from the heart, and you’ll be fine.

Step 5: Be a social media maven. Besides keeping people up to date on your own Facebook and Twitter accounts, you should also follow as many people as you can. Be active on their pages, commenting constantly on their posts, and they will return the favor. That goes for other fashion blogs as well. Be part of other people’s blog communities, posting comments and suggestions, and readers of those blogs will find out about you.

Step 6: Get out there. There’s more to fashion blogging than sitting at your laptop. You want to be seen all over town attending every fashion event there is, from runway shows to trunk shows to sample sales. Print business cards that identify you as a blogger and hand them out. Pretty soon, people in the industry will be inviting you to their events in hopes that you will blog about them.

Step 7: Set up an easy revenue stream. Why not let your blog make you money in your sleep? With just a few clicks, you can include an advertising program like Google AdSense, which places small, unobtrusive ads on your blog. When readers click on those ads, you make money. Or you can also set up an affiliate program with an online retailer like Amazon, in which you get a percentage of the sales when someone enters the store through your blog.

After you follow these steps, remember that most important thing in launching a blog is to have fun. Because when you have fun writing your fashion blog, people will have fun reading it.

If you love all things fashion, a career in fashion design might be for you. Visit FIDM/ Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising for more info.
